The story revolves around two neighbouring couples - Manmohan (Rohitash) and Angoori (Shubhangi), and Vibhuti (Aashif) and Anita (Saumya). Both men are attracted to each other’s wives and leave no chance to impress them, which often lands them in funny situations.

Saumya has been associated with the show for about three years now. She has a great sense of comic timing and no doubt is absolutely gorgeous.

The news of her quitting from the show has come as a shock to her fans. In an interview, on being asked why has she decided to make her exit, she talked about how she has been playing this role for the past three years, and now she wants to try her hand at some different roles. Looking at the popularity of the show, it might run for another five years, and Saumya does not want to associate herself with only one show. Hence, she feels it's the right time to move on.

Rumour mills were abuzz that Saumya was approached for Bigg Boss and might be a part of the show. But the actress put all rumours to rest by saying that she has not been approached for the show. And even if she were asked to participate in it, she won't do it at any cost.

We'll miss her in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Nobody can play that role to perfection like she did.
