Sara Ali Khan is just two movies down, Kedarnath and Simmba, but she's already made a name for herself. The actress has bagged a new role in the next David Dhawan movie, with Varun Dhawan in the lead. The film is said to be a remake of David Dhawan's 1995 hit Coolie No. 1 in which Sara will fill in the shoes of Karisma Kapoor's character.
After aankh maarey, we can't wait for Sara Ali Khan to shake a leg to main toh raste se ja raha tha with Varun Dhawan repeating Govinda's hook steps. This will be Varun Dhawan's third film with his father, David Dhawan after Judwaa 2 and Main Tera Hero. Coolie No. 1 is being written by screenwriter/director, Farhad Samji who has already started working on the dialogues with Varun Dhawan. Farhad shared with a leading newspaper, "It is a boon for any writer to work with a dedicated actor like Varun. I narrated the dialogue draft to him recently and he immediately asked me for a copy, so that he could rehearse his lines even though there is still time for the film to go on the floors. I am looking forward to teaming up with Sara for the second time." Farhad has previously worked with Varun Dhawan in Dilwale and Sara Ali Khan in Simmba.
Sara Ali Khan, who is Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter is currently working on an Imtiaz Ali film opposite her Kartik Aaryan. The movie is said to be the next instalment of Love Aaj Kal and is currently being shot in Delhi.
Varun Dhawan, on the other hand, is prepping for the release of his next dance film, Street Dancer 3D which also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi and is slated to release on 8th November. Street Dancer 3D is the third instalment of Remo D'Souza's ABCD series and was originally said to star Katrina Kaif, but the actress dropped out of the film and was replaced by Shraddha Kapoor.
