Time and again, Sara Ali Khan denied the making of Love Aaj Kal 2 and it wasn’t until Kareena Kapoor spilled the beans that we were sure that it was happening. And now that Kartik Aaryan confirmed it to a media source saying, “Yes, I am doing Imtiaz Sir next film – he is one of my favourite filmmakers and I have always wanted to work with him. I am glad it’s finally happening.” The movie is a sequel to Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Love Aaj Kal. This one, too, is directed by the flagbearer of modern-day love, Imtiaz Ali.
Sara and Kartik have made news once again – this time for the new pictures that have been leaked from the sets of Love Aaj Kal 2.

Did you spot Imtiaz Ali in black on the right? Although the filmmakers haven’t confirmed anything yet, it is clear that something new is brewing as far as the two of them are concerned. Recently, a video of the two actors slow dancing to a romantic number surfaced and took the internet by storm. Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan were seen kissing and dancing in the video, watch it here.
The rumours between the two began on the sets of Koffee With Karan when Sara confessed that she wanted to go on a date with Kartik Aaryan and Imtiaz Ali clearly lunged at the opportunity to be the first to show this couple off on the silver screen. We’re excited to see more of Sara, after her famous debut in Kedarnath and Simmba.
Kartik Aaryan is also shooting for Pati Patni Aur Woh opposite Ananya Padney (who he is rumoured to be dating) and Bhumi Padnekar. His 2019 release, Luka Chuppi, also starring Kriti Sanon has already earned Rs 62 Crores 10 days after its release.
