World Cup 2019: Sania Mirza Slams Actress Veena Malik For Unnecessary Parenting Advice

The match between India and Pakistan on Sunday during the World Cup 2019 is still making the news. India won big on the weekend and the (poor) performance of the Pakistani team was criticised incessantly on social media by both countries.

Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, who has been trolled many times ever since he married Indian tennis player Sania Mirza, was targeted, too. The cricketer was stumped on the first ball he played, but things got worse for him when a video of his outing along with Imam-ul-Haq, Wahab Raz and Imad Wasim went viral on Twitter. The players were also accompanied by his wife Sania Mirza and son Izhaan.

A Pakistani journalist Murtaza Ali Shah shared a video of Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza and friends partying ahead of the India-Pakistan match. His tweet was retweeted by over 1300 users and soon went viral.

Sania called out trollers for invading the couple's privacy and clarified that the video was recorded days before the match.

Actress Veena Malik jumped in and took a jibe at Sania for taking her son out to a sheesha place, which could be hazardous for his health.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has rubbished the reports of the team partying before the match. Also, it was clarified that the videos were of June 14, two days prior to the match.

PCB claimed that its players did not stay out of the team hotel beyond the curfew time the night before the World Cup game against India.

A spokesperson for the PCB made it clear that no player had violated the curfew timings set by the team management. He said, "The video under discussion was of two days back. On the night before the match, all the players were in their rooms before curfew time."
