Sameera Reddy Gives A Befitting Reply To Netizens Trolling Her For Flaunting Her Baby Bump

Sameera Reddy Gives A Befitting Reply To Netizens Trolling Her For Flaunting Her Baby Bump

Bollywood celebs are subjected to unwarranted trolling all the time. From being mocked for their dressing style, relationships to their choice of movies, celebs are constantly being questioned by netizens. But what boils my blood is when fans/haters body shame celebrities. Either they’re called out for being overweight or being too skinny.

One such celeb dealing with body shaming at the moment is mommy-to-be Sameera Reddy. The Race actress was trolled for flaunting her baby bump. Sameera and her husband Akshai Varde already have a three-year-old son Hans. The couple is now expecting their second child in July.

But brave Sameer slammed all trolls by taking to her Instagram feed to share another picture embracing her baby bump. She put all haters back in their place by her caption. She wrote, “Her soul was too deep to explore by those who always swam in the shallow end 🧚🏻‍♀️. This is my answer to anyone who feels uncomfortable with me enjoying my pregnant belly 🌟 #liveandletlive .

About two months ago, Sameera gave a befitting reply to trolls for expecting her to get back in shape immediately after delivering her baby. She said, “I want to ask one thing to the trollers… Where have you come from? You have come out of a mother only, was your mom very hot when you came out? It is shameful because it is such a natural process and it is so beautiful and amazing. There are sexy ones like Kareena who come out looking hot and then there are people like me who take time (to get back in shape) and it took me time with the first baby and maybe it will take me time with the second baby too.”

She also spoke about how things were different during her first pregnancy. She said, “I was like what people will expect, and how fast I will lose my weight. But now I feel different, cool, charming. I remember I used to cover up a lot in my first baby but now I am like bring it on. I can also be hotter and pregnant. The women in our culture have become very accepting of a pregnant woman and why not.”

Back in March, Sameera was trolled for flaunting her baby bump in a red hot dress that she wore for an award function.

The actress put Instagram stories to give it back to the haters. She wrote, “If men think it’s indecent to show a baby bump off then hell I’m going to absolutely enjoy my last few months of flaunting it even more. #bringiton.”

She also schooled them by saying, “Dear Desi Men, I’ve read comments you’ve written online about Sameera wearing a BLOOD Red dress with a cut out while pregnant. And true to your toxic form, some of you don’t approve of her bump showing. But then it’s 2019. And you do not have a say in what a woman chooses to do with her body. Anymore. Dear Desi Men, I leave you with this emoji so that you still feel ‘masculine’ enough when you realise you cannot dictate or have an opinion anymore as to what one chooses to wear.”
