Bigg Boss Season 13: Salman Khan To Get Rs 31 Crores For Just Working Over The Weekend!

Salman Khan is one of the highest paid actors in Bollywood. Over the years, he has amassed a huge fan following and has been ruling the box-office Eid after Eid. There's hardly any Bhai film that doesn't hit the Rs 200 crore mark on the box office. Given that the Dabangg actor is so much in demand, he reportedly charges a whopping sum of Rs 60 crores per film.

But that's not the only source of income for him. He's the face of Bigg Boss, one of the most controversial reality shows on Indian television. The actor has been associated with it for over eight years since Bigg Boss Season 4. Now, he's gearing up for Bigg Boss Season 13. Reportedly, the show goes on air on September 29th, 2019.

While most of the contestants get a few lakhs per week, Salman Bhai gets more money that you can possibly imagine.

For Bigg Boss 13, Salman is going to get paid Rs 31 crores for his appearance over the weekend. Yes, you heard that right! Salman's paycheque is said to have increased proportionately to the shows' TRP.

The Bharat actor charged around Rs 2.5 crores per episode from seasons 4 to 6 and doubled it to Rs 5 crores in Season 7. For Bigg Boss Season 8, Salman charged Rs 5.5 crores and moved on to Rs 7-8 crores in Season 9. In Season 10, he is said to have taken home Rs 8 crores per episode.

It was widely reported that he charged Rs 11 crores for Season 11. In Bigg Boss 12, Salman Khan is said to be earning around Rs 12 crore-Rs 14 crores per episode.

And now in Season 13, he's clearly hiked his fee and doubled it from what he was demanding in Season 12.

The location for Bigg Boss Season 13 has been changed from Lonavala to the Mumbai suburb of Goregaon. Reportedly, the team has begun building the house in Film City.

According to reports, the next season of Bigg Boss might have a female co-host joining Salman Khan. Salman Khan himself has asked for a female co-host.

Owing to last season’s poor ratings, and celebrities' discomfort in sharing screen space with commoners, there will be no non-celeb this year.
