Saif Ali Khan Talks About Son Ibrahim Ali Khan Entering Bollywood

The talented and handsome Pataudi heir, Saif Ali Khan charmed his way into Bollywood in 1993 with Parampara. The film failed to impress the audience but Saif did cast an impression. The actor then shot to fame with his role in the romantic drama Yeh Dillagi and the action film Main Khiladi Tu Anari. His sharp facial features, infectious smile and the chocolate boy looks made him an instant hit among his fans.

And let’s admit it, good genes run in the family. I mean just look at Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan and baby Taimur Ali Khan.

His divorce with first wife Amrita Singh strained his relationship with daughter Sara and Ibrahim, but over the years, they’ve reunited as one loving family. Saif has been very supportive of Sara foraying into films and looks like he’s pretty keen on Ibrahim walking in his shoes too.

Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, Saif spoke about how he’s encouraging Ibrahim to get into the industry. The Omkara actor said, “He should, he’s looking good, better looking than I am! He’s a very charming guy. I definitely think all of my children would be interested in acting. We’re an acting family, the whole bunch of us are in the industry. So I’m sure. He’s still a little young, and I’m keener that he does university first. Then, of course, we’ll support him in whatever he wants to do.”

Back in 2018, in an interview with a media portal, Saif spoke positively about Sara's decision to join the industry, Saif said, “I wasn’t shocked when she told me she wanted to become an actress. She seemed interested in the cinema, always. I don’t think she likes candy floss stuff. She gravitates towards good stories and has watched a lot of theatre. As long as she knows what she wants, it’s fine.”

He also was asked about Ibrahim’s Bollywood plans. To which he said, “I’ll be more than happy if Ibrahim, too, wants to join the film industry. Like I told Sara, I will advise him the same — to be really hardworking and focused. He’s extremely young right now. Let him finish university and then, we will see. He is very well behaved.”

Looks like doting daddy Saif has always been very supportive of his kids’ choices.

On the work front, Saif is gearing up for his upcoming movie, Jawaani Jaaneman directed by Nitin Kakkar. The film will mark the debut of Bollywood actress Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia Furniturewalla and is slated to release on November 29th this year.
