Loved Deepika's Frida Kahlo Inspired Look? Wait Till You See The Entire Collection!

Aisa dekha nahi, khoobsurat koi... I just can't stop thinking about this beautiful song since morning. Reason? I saw and admired the latest Sabyasachi bridal collection for a whole hour and with every new picture that I saw, I just kept falling more and more in love with the designs. Sabyasachi is called the master of the art when it comes to bridal wear, and with every new collection, we're reminded of the reason.

As someone who has been constantly staring at the collection for a good hour now, I'll just take the liberty of announcing which one of the lehengas is my favourite. Trust me when I say this, I'm 24 and definitely not in a hurry to 'settle down', but one look at this lehenga and *boom* I'm imagining myself walking under a beautiful phoolon ki chaadar in that gorgeous outfit and Din Shagna Da playing in the background. Not. Even. Kidding. So without any further ado, presenting before you the royal Dil Guldasta lehenga. Hold your breath:

Calm down my beating heart, calm down!

How does Sabya always manage to create these flawless masterpieces is beyond me! But hey, nobody's complaining!

The Dil Guldasta lehenga is made of Bourdeaux silk and has been intricately embroidered upon. Hand-dyed velvet appliques, silk-floss, beaten silver and gold thread and rose-tinted crystals and rhinestones give it that beautiful regal look.

Here are some other gems from the master's kitty:

The soul of Sabyasachi is defined by craftsmanship. Every year, we try to explore how to take our craft a notch higher. This year for our bridal collection, 40 artists from The Sabyasachi Art Foundation take centre stage. An ornate wedding lehenga in ivory silk is first hand-painted, then appliquéd with tea-dyed velvet and over-layered with the finest of zardosi, coffee-stained pearls, rhinestones, crystals and semi-precious stones. From start to finish the entire ensemble took over 5340 hours to finish, giving it the quality of a modern heirloom. Jewellery Courtesy: Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection. Inspired by Mughal miniatures and Benarasi meena, this lavish lehenga is embroidered with silk floss, antique zardosi and semi-precious stones and pearls. The lehenga is framed with a museum-quality zardosi border featuring elephants and foliage with three-dimensional relief. For a little bit of period whimsy, the lehenga is teamed with a shawl-collar portrait velvet blouse in ‘Sulekha’ blue. The look is accessorized with traditional jewellery featuring Burmese rubies, Zambian emeralds, pearls and uncut diamonds. Jewellery Courtesy: The Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection.
