Rubina Dilaik Fights For The Trans Community In BB Task & Twitter Is Mighty Impressed

As the days pass by in Bigg Boss house and the tasks start rolling in, you get to see the real personality of the contestants. Soon enough the game gets intense, personal comments are made, abuses are hurled, and problematic things are said. With the survival mode fully on, all of this is regular in the Bigg Boss house. Of course, a lot of this is done solely for the purposes of "footage" and attention. I mean all of us have seen the contestants fighting and raising a storm for no apparent reason.

But that said, how many times have you seen it in the Bigg Boss house that a contestant got passionately involved in someone else's fight for the right reason. Quite a rarity, right? Well, last night's episode was one of those sporadic cases where Rubina Dilaik left the nation mighty impressed.

Remember when we told you that Rubina is going to be one of the strongest contestants in the Bigg Boss 14 house? Guess we were right after all! Well, she sort of proved our point last night by taking a fierce stand for the trans community. It all started with the latest immunity task where Shehzad Deol and Nishant Malkani ended up getting into a heated altercation. In the heat, Nishant ended up clapping hands at Shehzad who perceived it as an insult and called him "Hizra" in response.

As soon as Rubina got to know about how it has been used as a cuss word, she immediately interfered and shut both men by shouting, "Oey, chup chup! Hizra aur chakka gaali nahi hai. Tumne suna...ye gaali nahi hai! Shezaad I want you to apologise to the entire community right now! (Hey, shut up! 'Hizra' and 'chakka' aren't cuss words. Did you hear me? This is not an insult!)."

Well, kudos to Rubina for taking a stand. For those of you who might not know, Rubina has actually played the character of intersex kinnar Saumya in a Colors TV show. The show, called Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, was very well-received by the audience and the character of Saumya turned out to be one of the most iconic ones on Indian television.

It is pretty awesome to see Rubina practicing exactly what they tried to preach in the show. Also, the actor has effectively shown that she is indeed as big of a heroine in real life as she is on the screen. The netizens are really impressed by the stand that she took for the trans community and have been lauding her. Here's what they have to say:
