Bigg Boss, the reality show that is known for its crazy catfights and over-the-top controversies is back with yet another season. Bigg Boss 13, hosted by Salman Khan is on it’s way to collecting the next set of contestants and the new contenders include, Rohan Gandotra, Shaleen Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur.
Rohan Gandotra is currently a part of the TV show, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and was actually shortlisted last year as well. A source told an entertainment website, “Rohan Gandotra has been offered to be on the show this year. He was in talks for BB12 as well but things didn’t work out. This time, the channel has gone out of their way to accommodate the actor. He has spotted at the Viacom office quite often, where he’s meeting the programming heads.”

The ex-couple, Shaleen Bhanot and Dalljeet Kaur, who split in 2015 after a series of domestic violence complains are also being approached to be a part of the show. “Shaleen and Dalljiet’s marriage hit a rough patch and things haven’t been great between the two ex-partners ever since. Knowing how the channel got Delnaaz Irani with Rajeev Paul a few seasons ago, it isn’t a surprise they have offered a huge sum of money to both Shaleen and Dalljiet to come on board for BB 13. They haven’t yet given a nod but they are still contemplating,” the source said.

Shaleen and Dalljeet’s marriage hit a rough patch as soon as they tied the knot, with a series of sporadic separations, the last time Dalljiet went back to reconcile with her husband, he tried to choke her and she feared he would harm their son, Shaaran (now Jaydon). “He pushed me in my father’s presence. My thigh was bruised for almost a month. But I forgave him, thinking it takes time for a marriage to work. On another occasion, he twisted my arm in front of his parents. But I finally decided enough was enough, when he came charging towards me while I had Shaarav in my arms. It could have turned fatal for my 40-day-old premature child. That day, I left for my parents’ home in Bangalore,” Dalljeet said in an interview.

The actress has since changed the name of their son because she didn’t want him to have his abusive father’s identity and has custody of their son. In a recent interview, the actress said that she is ready to co-exist, “My only priority is my son and his happiness. I am doing all that it needs to be a good single mother. If Shaleen can be a good father to him and can contribute in my son’s upbringing and towards his happiness, I am content. I want my son to grow up as a happy person. For that, if Shaleen wants to meet him for a minute or 10 hours I have no problem. I am ready to co-exist.”
Apart from this controversial couple, actors like Siddharth Shukla and Devoleena Bhattacharjee have also been approached to be a part of this show.
