Alia Bhatt recently admitted on Koffee With Karan that she and Ranbir Kapoor have been dating for a year. While the mothers Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan have been seen bonding and enjoying meals along with the couple, Alia’s dad Mahesh Bhatt is apprehensive about discussing their relationship. “I have never spoken about my children’s private lives. They are adults and it is their prerogative. I would never demean and belittle them by talking about it in public. It’s their right and if they want to talk about it or to remain silent about it; it’s their choice. I respect what they do with their life,” he said in an interview with a leading newspaper.
Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir’s father, who has been seeking treatment in New York also commented on the relationship saying, “Jo hai woh hai, sabko pata hai. I don’t need to say anything more.” Now, Ranbir Kapoor’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani (who is a successful jewellery designer) opened up about the hottest couple in Bollywood, Alia and Ranbir. When asked by a leading newspaper about how she feels when Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship is under a constant spotlight, she said, “Hota hi hai, ask him! What can I say? I am happy if my brother is happy, and I am a very happy sister.”
We can’t wait for the big Kapoor-Bhatt wedding!
All is not well in the Kapoor family though. In a recent tweet, Rishi Kapoor stated that he was going to New York to seek treatment. Little is known of his current condition and diagnosis.

However, Riddhima did clear the air in the same interview. “He’s fine, nothing to worry about. I was never worried anyway. He’s just getting his routine tests done, like he said on Twitter, after so many years of wear and tear. He’s getting everything done, so hoping for the best.”
