Ranveer Ka Time Aa Gaya: The Actor Will Replace Shah Rukh Khan In Don 3

When the original Don, starring Amitabh Bachchan, released in 1978 - it was an instant hit. While no one could've imagined the film could be remade, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani made it possible. Shah Rukh amazed the audiences with his acting prowess and brought the bad boy back to life. With a twist in the ending, SRK's Don was also a blockbuster success at the box office. The film left the fans wanting more. The second part of the franchise hit theatres in 2011, five years after the first one came out. The technology, songs, suspense and high octane action sequences made the film a massive hit.

Don 3 has been one of the most anticipated films! Fans were eager to know who will play the leading lady after Priyanka Chopra opted out of the franchise citing personal reasons.

And now we've received the most shocking and heart-shattering news. Reportedly, Shah Rukh has opted out of the film. Can you believe that? He owned the franchise like a boss and he won't be playing Don anymore!

SRK also opted out of the Rakesh Sharma biopic after the commercial failure of his film Zero. Reportedly, the actor has been perturbed after Zero failed at the box-office and has not signed any other film. The actor is taking his time before giving a nod to any script.

But there's some good news too! As per sources, makers of the film are keen on signing Ranveer Singh for the role. After his power-packed performances in Simmba and Gully Boy, the actor is in demand. However, there is no formal confirmation of this.
