2019 seems to be the year of new friendships in Bollywood. And what piques our interest is the quadrilateral between Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
Deepika and Ranveer are happily married. Ranbir and Alia have been in a relationship for over a year now. Deepika and Ranbir the most cordial exes ever seen in tinsel town. Ranveer and Alia share a great bond of friendship (Lulu and Tutu, remember?). Deepika and Alia have started to bond like they’re some long lost sisters (at least that’s what it looked like on Koffee With Karan) and Ranbir and Ranveer seem to share a mutual admiration for each other too. Phew!
Last evening at an awards’ night, we saw a PDA overload pan quadrilateral. Let us take you through it.
Ranbir and bae Alia made their relationship a little more public by dancing to Ishq Wala Love from Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. Alia was seen wearing a beautiful floral gown and she looked like she’s straight out of a fairytale and Ranbir looked suave in a tuxedo.
Engaging in more PDA, the couple left the venue hand-in-hand.
Coming to Deepika and hubby Ranveer, the couple took their pheras onstage in front of all the celebs. You didn’t see that coming, did you? Deepika looked ravishing in a red gown and Ranveer looked dapper in his eccentric black suit. Red for the bride and tux for the groom? Seems as if the wedding on stage was a planned gimmick. We loved it nonetheless.
Alia and Deepika shared pleasantries as they posed for the paps. The two were seen laughing and cracking jokes as we’ve never seen them do before.
And now let’s come to the most fun part. Ranveer, Deepika, Ranbir and Alia were sitting together next to each other. What pyaar (read PR)!
Ranveer won the award for the Best Actor People’s Choice for his scintillating performance as Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. And guess who lost to him? Ranbir Kapoor! The actor had been nominated for his performance in Sanju. Hard luck, we’d say. As soon as the winner was announced, Ranveer jumped up in exuberance, kissed wife Deepika, hugged Ranbir tightly and also embraced Alia.
No hard feeling, right?
