We all know that brother-sister duo Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan are the hotbeds of Bollywood gossip. They may not have official accounts on Instagram, but they keep a tab on activities on all celeb accounts. A lot of Ranbir’s co-stars and friends have also admitted that the actor is active on social media and keeps himself updated about what’s going on in the film industry.
According to a report in a leading daily, Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he isn’t entirely off social media and he does follow a select few celebrities. The list included not only his girlfriend Alia Bhatt, but also his exes Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif, as well as Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh. He may not have a public and verified account on Instagram, but he operates via a private account to keep an eye on what’s buzzing.
Bharat actress Katrina Kaif recently made an appearance on Arbaaz Khan’s chat show, Pinch. During her chat session with Arbaaz, she revealed that Ranbir has an account on Instagram. On being asked if she had a second account to keep a track of Bollywood celebrities, she said, “No, no. I know Ranbir has. And Ranbir, by the way, was the person who showed me how Instagram works.”
Katrina has a cordial with Ranbir. In a recent interview, she opened about her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, “I’m not trying to be Ms Goody Two Shoes. I’m not some extraterrestrial being. I do go through my own share of pain and angst. But I see no point in holding a grudge.”
Ranbir Kapoor also has a good equation with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone and her husband Ranveer Singh. Deepika recently visited his parents Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor in New York. Ranbir and Alia are often spotted bonding with Ranveer and Deepika in public, mostly during award shows. The Jagga Jasoos actor had also shared the couch with Ranveer in the fifth season of Koffee With Karan.

In an earlier interview, Kareena Kapoor also talked about not being officially present on Instagram, “Despite not being active or even present on social media, I am still all over it. I don’t need to put out anything more about my life. On the other hand, some people are active on social media, yet no one is interested in them.”
