#SorryNotSorry: Ranbir Kapoor Finally Responds To Kangana Ranaut’s Mean Comments

Kangana Ranaut has become famous for her constant digs at Bollywood stars, especially Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. She has called them “irresponsible” and “stupid” in public statements on multiple occasions. While Alia has been vocal about Kangana’s comments, Ranbir has finally broken his silence on the matter.

The Rockstar actor has spoken about why he chose to not respond to Kangana’s behaviour. “Whatever anyone’s asks me I do answer it. I don’t have any interest in giving answers to these questions. People can say whatever they want. I know who I am and what I say,” the actor told a popular news agency.

It all began when Ranbir chose to not comment on politics when asked about his preferences in an interview and said, “[I] don’t follow politics as it doesn’t make a difference in my life,” and Kangana, who was shooting Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi at the time, accused Bollywood of not caring about the nation, leading with Ranbir’s statement as an example.

Kangana then called out the two for allegedly getting away with things because they are ‘young.’ “What is this of calling them ‘young’ when Ranbir Kapoor is 37 and Alia Bhatt is 27? My mother had three children at the age of 27! This is absolutely unfair. Ye bachche hai, ki dumb hai ki kya hai?? If you are asked to discuss your sex life, you are okay to discuss, putting pictures on Instagram but when it is about the country, it is my personal choice,” the actress stated in an interview. She also said, “[Career is] so important to these people that they don’t care about the country at all.”

In another statement during the promotions of Manikarnika, Kangana said that they should be invested in what happens in the country. “We should take interest in national matters. It’s silly to think that I shouldn’t be asked about anything [thinking] ‘what if I lose an endorsement?’. This is stupid,” the actress said.

Kangana Ranaut has also spoken about Karan Johar, Rani Mukherji, Mahesh Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Pahlaj Nihalani and her favourite topic, nepotism, in the past.
