When Bollywood’s IT-couple steps out for an outing, and together no less, heads are bound to turn. And turn they did! Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made a fashionable appearance for Umang 2019, the event held every year to honour the Mumbai Police and the dedicated work they do for the community. Like each year, a bevvy of Bollywood stars turned up to grace the occasion as well as perform, giving us multiple filmy moments and red carpet appearances in the process.

The centre of all attention, however, was the newest Bollywood couple aka Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who officially attended the show together, making it one of their few joint red carpet appearances. All decked up to the nines, the young lovebirds sure gave us couple, and fashion, goals with their appearance, but it wasn’t just their outfits that had us hooked. I mean, would you just look at them smiling from ear to ear? Ah, young love!

Dressed in a pale green Tarun Tahiliani outfit, Alia Bhatt’s traditional avatar just added to the slew of fashion hits she has been serving us recently. The ornately embroidered, dainty Anarkali with sheer details was complete with a matching dupatta that the actress pinned to one side. Styled by ace stylist Ami Patel, Alia chose to accessorise with opulent earrings by Amrapali Jewels while some glowing makeup and simply done hair rounded off her look perfectly. And, of course, not to miss that wide, dimpled smile!
Ranbir Kapoor, who accompanied his lady love to the event, chose to keep it classic with a navy blazer, teamed with matching trousers, a tie, and a crisp white shirt. Talk about looking super dapper in a tried-and-tested, quintessential ensemble. We like!
From giving us Instagram couple goals to serving fashion looks together on the red carpet, this Bollywood couple has surely come a long, long way. We can’t wait to see what more these two have in store for us and honestly, you couldn’t blame us, could you now?!
