Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been the talk of the B-town for almost a year now. Not only have they made their relationship public, but they also don’t shy away from public displays of affection. No wonder their fans can’t wait for them to tie the knot. Ranbir and Alia might have said they’re not planning to get married any time soon, but word on the street says otherwise. It was rumoured a few weeks ago that Rishi Kapoor is flying back to India from the US for their wedding and we’ve already seen how comfortable the couple is with their respective in-laws as well. In fact, the couple attended an award show recently, where both the actors received the Best Actor awards for their respective films. Right after Alia was announced as the winner, Ranbir leaned in to give the actress a peck on her lips, but Alia coyly turned away and Ranbir kissed her on the cheek instead.

When Ranbir won the Best Actor award for Sanju, Alia handed over the trophy to him and said, “The award goes to my all-time favourite, Ranbir Kapoor for Sanju.” This was followed by the aww-dorable moment when Ranbir went down on his knee for Alia and grooved to the tunes of Ishq Wala Love!

Currently, Ranbir and Alia are the power couple of Bollywood, and things are going swimmingly. “It’s not a relationship. It’s a friendship. I’m saying this with all genuineness and honesty. It’s beautiful. I’m walking on stars and clouds right now,” Alia recently said in an interview. “The best part is that we’re two individuals, who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now. He’s shooting continuously. So am I. It’s not a situation where you’ll see us constantly together. That’s the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage,” Alia added.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy. It was on the sets of this film that the two actors fell in love. Brahmastra is set to hit the screens on Christmas 2019.
