We give it to our Desi Girl aka Priyanka Chopra-Jonas for keeping her fans hooked to her upcoming projects. The actress’ new memoir, titled Unfinished, is set to release on February 9. The book has already garnered a lot of attention and her fans can’t wait to read it. So how does she manage to do that? It’s fairly simple. She does it all by sharing interesting anecdotes from her celeb life with her fans. Honestly, her social media posts keep us wanting for more and the same happened when she recently shared another major instance from her life on the ‘Gram.
The White Tiger actress shared a collage of her pictures that took her fans back to the day when she wore a vintage gown during Cannes 2019 red carpet. PC looked drop-dead-gorgeous in the stunning black sequined dress with ombre detailing at the midriff and that high slit became the talk of the town. However, there’s a ‘risky’ story behind her OOTD.
The global fashion icon revealed in her caption that while she smiled and posed on the red carpet in that beautiful gown by Roberto Cavalli, she was conscious because the dress’ zipper broke just a few minutes before her appearance. She wrote, “I may look chill on the outside here, but little did everyone know I had just been freaking out on the inside. 😂 The delicate zipper to this vintage @roberto_cavalli dress broke as they were zipping it up minutes before I had to leave for the red carpet at Cannes last year.”
Wow, we are seriously in awe of PC for managing the situation with such ‘bring-it-on’ attitude. Also, a big shoutout to her fashion team who thought on their feet and stitched her gown. Priyanka added, “The solution? My amazing team had to sew me into the dress on the way in the 5 minute car ride!”
We don’t know about you but we surely wouldn’t have guessed the chaos behind Priyanka’s calm smile. And interestingly enough, this is not it! The actress concluded her caption by promising her fans of more such unheard BTS stories in her memoir.
