Ever heard of a real-life wonder woman who knows exactly how to dominate the globe? Well, our very own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, is definitely someone who has several accolades to her name and there seems to be no stopping her. The latest feather in her cap–the actress has found a spot on the prestigious ‘100 Most Inspiring Women’ list published by online platform Create & Cultivate.
The global icon featured in the Create & Cultivate 100 list of the ‘most successful and inspirational women’ for 2020. The website introduced her as an actress who is known to have shattered glass ceilings in fields across “Fashion, Food, Entertainment, Entrepreneurship, Health & Wellness, Content Creation, Beauty, Music and new categories Small Business & Find New Roads”. Woah, that’s quite an impressive list! Is there anything she cannot do?!
Announcing her latest feat, The Sky Is Pink actress took to Instagram to thank Create & Cultivate. Speaking about her latest achievement, she told the platform how she was quick to learn that nothing comes easy in life. “I understood early that nothing comes easy. Yes, luck and destiny do play a part, but nothing works like hard work,” said the actress. She further said that one must have a vision for themselves and then work as hard as they can to make it happen. “Oh, and remember, life is rarely ever a straight road-with the good, there will also be the bad. It is what you do after the good and what you do after failure, how you choose to get up, that defines your life,” said PC.
Priyanka is currently in Davos, Switzerland, attending the ongoing World Economic Forum annual meeting. According to reports, the Global Citizen ambassador (that also happens to be Priyanka) is expected to address leaders across the globe on issues related to extreme poverty, climate change and inequity.
Coming back to her work in the entertainment industry, Priyanka’s The Sky Is Pink remains her last release. She recently featured in Jonas Brothers’ single, ‘What A Man Gotta Do.’ She will be next seen in two Netflix films–the movie adaptation of Booker Prize-winning novel The White Tiger, and superhero flick We Can Be Heroes.
