Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay has had a bizarre plotline ever since Komolika (played by Hina Khan) left the show. We were expecting Anurag and Prerna to finally catch a break since the woman who vowed to destroy their love life was finally out of the picture. They did share some cute, mushy moments that had all the fans rejoicing at the reunion of the star-crossed lovers.
How cute do they look? Played by Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes, Anurag and Prerna are one of the most popular couples on the small screen. And rumour has it that the two actors are dating in real life as well!
Anurag’s mother has been against Prerna from the beginning of their relationship. While her conniving moves were already threatening to jeopardize Anurag and Prerna’s relationship, we saw the entry of Mr Bajaj (played by Karan Singh Grover.) We knew he had been brought in to put an end to their dreamy affair. According to the latest episode, Mr Bajaj has managed to put Anurag behind bars and is now in a position to blackmail Prerna. In one of the promos of the show, Mr Bajaj finally reveals his sinister plans and offers a deal to Prerna which might save Anurag. His freedom is going to come at a hefty price!
Damn! Didn’t see that one coming, did we? And by now we thought that Prerna would know better to not fall into any traps that could have dire repercussions. However, she agrees to marry Mr Bajaj, but not without dropping a major bombshell.
Can it get more dramatic than this? While on the other hand, poor innocent Anurag is in jail, being optimistic and dreaming about his wedding to Prerna. He has been behind the bars but all he can think about is getting a ‘laal saree’ for Prerna. He needs to focus on the bigger picture, maybe?
In the latest promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, we see Anurag landing at a shaadi ka mandap where we have no clue who’s marrying whom. He proudly boasts to Mr Bajaj about the power of true love and claims that Prerna will become his for a lifetime. Just when he’s riding the horse of overconfidence, Prerna marches into the mandap clad in a bridal outfit, smirks at Anurag (who, by the way, is the love of her life) and holds Mr Bajaj’s hands, indicating that she chose him as the most suitable contender.
The cast of KZK2 is in Switzerland right now for shooting an outdoor sequence. For those of you who are wondering what that sequence is, here is a little scoop. Mr Bajaj and Prerna will eventually get married and will head to Switzerland for their honeymoon. Anurag will assume Prerna did it for money and will try to take revenge by following the newly married couple to the Swiss Alps. My my! How the tables have turned!
