Not that we’re keeping any count but it’s been exactly four months and 10 days since Bigg Boss 14 went off-air. Since then, fans of the show (including ME!) have been eagerly waiting for the next season. Now as per host Salman Khan, the new season will probably air around October 2021 and will continue for six months.
A little birdie also tells us that Bigg Boss 15 has come up with a special format this season to make it more interesting for its viewers. Excited to find out? Well, turns out apart from having controversial contestants, the focus this year will be to rope in couples or ex-couples. Neha Marda
Neha Marda was one of the first few names that popped up on social media when rumours of the show started doing the rounds. And now, the Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti actress has confirmed being a part of the show. Commenting on it, she said, “I have been offered Bigg Boss for the last four years and this year also I have received a call for Bigg Boss 15. Every year I refuse to do the show thinking I won’t be able to do it. I thought a show like Bigg Boss was not worth me but now the situation in which we are shooting feels like being on Bigg Boss. It’s like a mini-trial for the Bigg Boss house.” Interesting!
Arjun Bijlani
Arjun Bijlani is another interesting name that we may get to see on BB 15. A little birdie also tells us that the actor has already signed on the dotted lines. Earlier when Arjun was asked if he’d be keen on participating in the show, he said, “I have no idea. I haven’t really given it a thought yet. Also, because the current situation is such that you really can’t comment on what you end up deciding. I guess I’ll cross the bridge when it comes.” Looks like that bridge has been crossed!
Priya Banerjee
Actress Priya Banerjee is the latest to join the list of rumoured BB contestants. As per several reports, she has already been approached for the show. However, there’s still no confirmation on the same. Only time will tell if we’ll get to see her in the famous house or not!
Disha Parmar
Rumour mills are abuzz that Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara actress, Disha Parmar has been approached for the new season of BB. However, there’s still no official confirmation on the same.
Apart from these, names like Rhea Chakraborty, Disha Vakhani are also being considered. There were also rumours of Parth Samthaan and Bhumika Chawla being a part of Bigg Boss 15. However, the two denied participating in the show.
It looks like the makers of Bigg Boss are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that they give their viewers a major dose of entertainment. Gosh, we can’t wait for the show to go on-air already!
