A Vision In White: Pernia Qureshi’s Dreamy Wedding Pictures Will Make You Swoon

After fashion entrepreneur Pernia Qureshi’s stunning sangeet pictures flooded the internet, beauty and fashion enthusiasts waited for her wedding look with bated breath. The mogul got hitched to her longtime beau and Gits scion, Sahil Gilani, on Saturday. Some of her closest friends including designer Masaba Gupta, stylist Tanya Ghavri and makeup artist Namrata Soni, gave us tiny glimpses into their ceremonies at Four Seasons, Istanbul. And, we have to say, we were not disappointed.

Namrata Soni revealed Pernia’s wedding outfit on her Instagram, and it was as dreamy as we had imagined it to be! Get ready for your jaw to hit the floor:

Pernia looked ethereal in an embellished ivory lehenga by Pakistani label ÉLAN. She wore a netted veil that covered her face and kept her accessories minimal with a maang tika, studded earrings and a delicate choker. Namrata Soni, who was also her makeup artist for the wedding, gave her dramatic smokey eyes with a nude lip. Her hair was neatly pushed back from her face and left loose.

Just look at that, she certainly looked like royalty, wouldn’t you agree?

We also got a glimpse of the venue, which was decorated with white flowers and green foliage, setting a dreamy mood with the mystical Sea of Marmara in the backdrop.

Her wedding venue, The Four Seasons Istanbul at Bosphorus, is one of the most gorgeous locations in the world. The hotel is located on the banks of a beautiful stretch of water, underneath the iconic Bosphorus Bridge, which spans the waterway between Europe and Asia.

You can also take a lesson or two on how a bride and groom should colour-coordinate their outfits. Sahil also wore a grey sherwani with white chooridar and a white turban. Take a look:

Here’s another shot of the stylish couple at what could possibly be a post-wedding celebration:

For her sangeet, Pernia wore a stunning rose gold and blush pink outfit by the Dubai based designer, Faraz Manan and statement jewellery by Amrapali Jewels. Her friend, Tanya Gharvi shared her looks from the sangeet ceremony. She wrote, “My most stunning perni❤️❤️❤️ Picture perfect on her sangeet ceremony💯 @perniaq @namratasoni everything I have learnt about styling is from her so it’s only obvious that she will be the most beautiful bride can hardly wait to see you as a 👰 self styled in @farazmanan @amrapalijewels to perfection!”

Pernia also gave us a glimpse of her pre-wedding glam on Instagram when she shared pictures with her #BrideSquad. Looking ethereal in a satin fishtail lehenga from her eponymous label, Pernia Qureshi Label, she can be seen posing and enjoying with her sister Sylvia and BFFs – Vani Khosla, Vani Gupta, Sanya Jain, and Sanjana Bedi – all of them also wearing outfits from her label.

Pernia celebrated the Mehendi ceremony wearing an ivory salwaar-kameez from her own label, which featured delicate embellishments, paired with diamond danglers and a maang tika.

“I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate my closest girlfriends than a special day dedicated to them, and seeing them in ensembles that have been envisioned by me. Under Pernia Qureshi brands, we have created labels that have something to offer everyone, with our own touch,” Pernia said in an interview with IANSlife.
