After a three-year-long hiatus from Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra is all set to grace our desi silver screens with her much-awaited movie, The Sky Is Pink. The Quantico star is currently busy promoting the movie and has attended various film festivals, panel discussions and interviews.
As part of the promotions, she recently visited the sets of comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show. The host of the show, Kapil Sharma, is notorious for asking celebrities hilarious questions about their personal lives. And of course, he didn't spare PC!
Kapil started a conversation around how both he and PC got married around the same time last year. From one newly-wed to another, he asked her about how her husband, Nick Jonas, greets her mother Madhu Chopra--is it videshi-style air kisses or proper sanskaari feet-touching?
An amused Priyanka "Dono ke beech mei! Bechara hug karta hai mummy ko!", revealing that it was neither of the two--he takes the middle ground by hugging her instead. Isn't that sweet? Although we certainly expected Nick jiju to be full-on desi and touch her feet like an adarsh damaad.
The funniest part? Madhu Chopra was present in the audience and whole-heartedly nodded in agreement.

On the work front, Priyanka is a very busy lady. She has acted in and produced The Sky Is Pink, and fans are eagerly waiting for the movie's release on October 11. In fact, when the film was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), it received a standing ovation.
Speaking about the experience in detail in a recent interview, she said, "I have been to TIFF four times and I would say, 'Yes, these are people who have come to watch cinema because it's a film festival.' So, they are tough, they are not an easy crowd to please. And to see that kind of an audience stand up, stay standing and clapping for such a long duration when we didn't know if we should leave or we should stay or like be gracious or walk. Like, it was amazing."
The film also stars Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. Are you as excited as we are for PC's Bollywood comeback?
