Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay is one of the most loved TV shows and has been hogging all the limelight these days. There have been a lot of speculations ever since the reports of Parth Samthaan deciding to quit the show floated. Even though there has been no official announcement from the actor or the makers of the show, reports suggest that Parth, who plays the role of Anurag Basu, has already put down his papers. But this isn’t the only thing bothering his fans. The TV heartthrob has not been active on his Instagram handle and his followers have been missing him. Now, after a month, Parth finally posted a picture of himself and wrote that he intended to take a break from social media.

He wrote, “Hey there ..hope everyone’s good and healthy! I know I have been away from Social media for sometime now …but I do intend to come back the soonest …thankyou for your support and love. Stay Blessed. #crazyme will be back soon”.
Parth tested positive for coronavirus last month. The actor tested negative after a week, but he was under home quarantine and wasn’t active on his social media handles. Parth’s last post before his detox announcement on Insta was over a month ago in which he informed his fans about his health.
Well, the actor has seen his fair share of problems in the past month. After beginning to recover, he left for Pune to visit his parents and this did not go well with his neighbours. They accused him of violating the quarantine rules and putting everyone’s health at risk. However, the actor clarified that he had completed his quarantine and left his house after he got a panic attack. Parth has recently resumed shoot after which the rumours of him opting out of KZK started doing rounds.
If rumours are to be believed, Ekta Kapoor is trying to convince Parth to stay back while the production house has already started looking for replacements. Reports suggest that Pearl V Puri or Barun Sobti are being considered to step into Parth’s shoes. However, Ekta might pull the plug on Kasautii if she doesn’t find a worthy replacement.

Meanwhile, there were reports of Prerna aka Erica Fernandes also leaving the show, but the actress recently cleared the air and said that she is very much a part of the show.
