Scrolling through Instagram a colleague and I came across this picture of Parineeti Chopra from the wrap party for Namaste England. Yes, they’re done shooting the film! Anyway, she looked oh-so-chic in a white pantsuit and black bustier. But of course, we immediately started zooming in on her makeup and hair.

Parineeti had opted for the sleek hair look and what looked like a smokey eye. BUT, on closer inspection (yes you can call my colleague and me, stalkers), we figured that she had actually done a coloured grey and blue smokey eye. We fell in love with the look. It’s just the right look for any event that you might have. Uncomplicated, easy yet impactful. And the colour is just giving the eyes a boost.
While we were looking at her picture we remembered that just a couple of days ago, our fave starlet Disha Patani had also done something SO SIMILAR. Her eyes were smoked up too, but it was more green and teal.

This got us wondering, is this a new look for the season? Personally, I am absolutely game. Every twist on the smokey eye gives me another reason to like it even more!
