After all that anticipation, we finally have a photo of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh! And it was TOTALLY worth the wait. The couple tied the knot in a very secretive, paparazzi-free wedding at Lake Como in Italy.
#DeepVeerKiShaadi included two ceremonies, Sindhi and Konkani. And well, it came as no surprise that the couple wore Sabyasachi outfits for both the ceremonies. We’ve seen two photos so far, and there seems to be a definite theme. For the first ceremony DeepVeer wore white and gold and for the second, they wore red! And the pictures speak volumes, don’t they! How adorable is our favourite Bollywood couple?
But hey, Sabyasachi who? You’re here for her makeup look and so are we. Not one to step out of her conventional brown eyeshadow look, for her wedding day DP decided to keep it simple. And this is definitely a piece of advice we will give brides: Let your wedding day makeup be simple - less is always more. Stick to the kind of makeup that works best for you and your skin type!
Deepika rocked a subtle brown smokey eye and a gold smokey eye. The rest of her makeup was minimal. Nude skin, nude lipstick and very little blush. The key to rocking a smokey eye is to tone down the rest of your skin and Deepika always nails the look.
Here’s a quick tutorial on creating that low-key, quick and easy brown smokey eye courtesy celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni. If you’re trying to recreate the gold smokey eye, I’m about to let you in on a huge makeup artist secret - just dab some golden eyeshadow on the centre of your lid and blend. That's it, you’re all set! Don’t forget the mascara!
