Raise your hands if you literally grew up with this show. Well, I did. While we had the best of comedy shows (Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai), superb horror shows (Aahat & Zee Horror Show), what topped the TRPs was CID. The show had some iconic characters, ACP Pradyuman (who remained an ACP from the beginning till the end), the ever so popular Daya (who was good at opening any kind of door) and the forensic expert, who solved all the cases with his awesome theories. Last year, the show took a break from airing on TV. In 2018, the makers had made an official announcement that CID will take an intermittent break starting October 28. And will gear up for a fresh season with more contextual cases. However, recently it was reported that some members of TV show CID will be reuniting for a brand new show. The new show will be cop-based and will incorporate some personal stories too. If rumours are to be believed, Daya, Abhijeet and Inspector Purvi will be part of the project.
