Namaskaar and Adaab! Welcome to another episode of Crime Patrol. Sixteen years and still on, Crime Patrol, which is in its fifth season, is worth mentioning in this article. 'Coz its the longest-airing crime shows on Indian TV. The show that features dramatised retellings of heinous crimes in Indian os doing its best to keep us aware. Annup Sonii, the popular TV face hosts the show. The actor, however, took a break from the show stating that he wanted to experiment with different roles. Annup, however, is now back on the show, "the show undoubtedly has given me a lot of appreciation, but becoming synonymous with it also came with its own restrictions. Also, I couldn’t experiment with different roles because of my image of a righteous man on the show. As an actor, I should be free to explore shades, which I got to do in this one year,” he told an entertainment daily earlier.

MTV Roadies

MTV Roadies is India's longest-running adventurous reality TV show. It first aired in 2003. From macho man, Rannvijay Singh (winner of the first season) to Ayushmann Khurrana (winner of the second season), the show introduced us to some awesome people in the showbiz and a few who were downright bizarre. A few judges have been replaced and the show has introduced various twists to keep the audiences' attention intact. For the ongoing season, the makers roped in former Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh. Winner of MTV Roadies X2 Prince Narula, rapper Raftaar, and MTV veteran Nikhil Chinappa also serve as the other gang-leaders in 16th edition of the show.

Nach Baliye

The dance reality show has been delivering many controversial and entertaining episodes since 2005. The show took a lot of breaks, because of which, it's still in its ninth season. This time around, the makers of the show decided to do things differently. Right from being produced by the bhai of Bollywood aka Salman Khan to changing their theme and getting ex-couples together, the dance reality show makers have included all the masala.

CID

Raise your hands if you literally grew up with this show. Well, I did. While we had the best of comedy shows (Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai), superb horror shows (Aahat & Zee Horror Show), what topped the TRPs was CID. The show had some iconic characters, ACP Pradyuman (who remained an ACP from the beginning till the end), the ever so popular Daya (who was good at opening any kind of door) and the forensic expert, who solved all the cases with his awesome theories. Last year, the show took a break from airing on TV. In 2018, the makers had made an official announcement that CID will take an intermittent break starting October 28. And will gear up for a fresh season with more contextual cases. However, recently it was reported that some members of TV show CID will be reuniting for a brand new show. The new show will be cop-based and will incorporate some personal stories too. If rumours are to be believed, Daya, Abhijeet and Inspector Purvi will be part of the project.
