Crystal Clear: Would You Try Magical Geode Hair This Year?

When have Instagram artists failed to surprise us with their innovative minds? Never! A colour specialist has introduced us to another remarkable hair trend that’ll keep treating our eyes, Geode.

Like many other beauty trends, Geodes seems super enticing on Instagram, yet impractical to master. So far, we had seen geode nails, lip art and recently there were body designs by an Australian make-up artist Katy Tolj.

And finally, a colour specialist Caitlin Ford has proved that creativity has no limit and is for everyone. Yup, there is an amethyst geode hair trend and it looks incredible. Caitlin Ford is one hairstylist who never allows the uncertainties to hold her back, she had also created rainbow ombré hair.

The colours of geodes have inspired many hairstylists but no one was actually trying to add the sparkle and crystal’s texture in hair...until now.

💜💎Amethyst Geode💎💜 For this look I was inspired by amethyst geodes! Sometimes I plan specific styles I want to try with certain color placements! I knew for this style I wanted to use glitter to create texture and shine to mimic the geode. I used big, chunky, iridescent glitter in the purple to mimic the amethyst points and used a clear glitter mixed with fine silver glitter to mimic the quartz edges. How do you guys think it lives up to the inspiration? ✨✨✨ I created the color with #socolorcult by @matrix #matrixpartner #thebtcteam #btconeshot_vibrant18 #btconeshot_unconventionalcolor18 #btconeshot_festival18 #btcbigshot_editorial18 #btcbigshot_creativecolor18 #btcbigshot_avantgarde18 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #hairgoals #colorfulhair #hairideas #besthair #framar #behindthechair #modernsalon #americansalon #esteticausa #beautylaunchpad #hairgoals #besthair #holosexual #holographichair #holohair #festivalhair #electricforest #coachella #glittergeodehair #geodehair

With this hair trend, Caitlin Ford has created a crystallized masterpiece. She shared her work on her Instagram handle, sharing that she used Socolor by Matrix and the Rebond System to keep the hair safe from damage while dying. For the texture, she used “big, chunky, iridescent glitter in the purple to mimic the amethyst points and used a clear glitter mixed with fine silver glitter to mimic the quartz edges.”

👾✨Amethyst Geode✨👾 Who is getting good vibes from this sparkling beauty? I made my own glitter gel with craft store glitter and hair gel! The color is @matrix #socolorcult, and I also used the Total Results rebond system during prep to keep my client’s hair nice and healthy 👍🏻#thebtcteam #glittergeodehair #amethystgeode #geodehair #matrixpartner #btconeshot_upstylingvideo18 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #behindthechair #americansalon #modernsalon #authentichairarmy #esteticausa #imallaboutdahair #licensedtocreate #cosmoprof #hairideas #glitterroots #glitterhair #hairtrends #videooftheday #hairgoals #besthair #holosexual #holographichair #holohair #festivalhair #electricforest #coachella #amethystgeodehair
