Hello, excuse me! Yes, you! You aren’t the only one preparing for a fresh start with better goals in the new year. ‘2020 is going to be my year’ is also an affirmation of all the youngsters who are gearing up for their upcoming big debut in Bollywood. Just like any creative industry, Bollywood too is always on a look-out for fresh faces. And if you thought only 2019 was packed with newcomers in Bollywood, there are at least 13 more to look forward to in 2020. So, here’s a list of new faces that you are going to see in the coming year.

New Faces To Look Forward To In 2020

We see newcomers every year. More often than not, these are either celebrity kids or have famous relatives. 2020, too, seems to be looking forward to putting a lot of such already-popular-names on the frontline, including some from the regional cinema as well. Take a look at all the names here:

Alaya Furniturewalla

Daughter of Pooja Bedi, Alaya F will mark her big entry with the Saif Ali Khan and Tabu starrer, Jawaani Jaaneman. The movie is about a 40-year-old father and his teenage daughter, which from the looks of Alaya’s Instagram is set in modern-day London. According to reports, the producers have been so impressed with the 22-year-old’s acting skills that they have already signed her for a three-film deal! The tentative release date of Jawaani Jaaneman is February 7, 2020.

Ahan Shetty

After four-movies-old Athiya Shetty, it’s younger sibling Ahan’s turn to knock on the doors of B-town. Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan, will be seen romancing the SOTY 2 debutante Tara Sutaria in the action-packed film Tadap, a Hindi remake of the 2018′ Telugu film RX 100. Ahan will be playing a movie theatre owner in the film. While the filming began in August this year, the release date is yet to be announced. Shanaya Kapoor

Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya may not have a movie in her kitty as yet but she’s already on her way to make a name for herself. The 20-year-old worked as an Assistant Director in cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s upcoming film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Recently, she made a stunning debut at Le Bal Paris (just like her BFF Ananya Panday did in 2018). Well, Ananya jumped right into films after her debut. So we are expecting the same from Shananya who aspires to be an actress. We think 2020 will be big for the young Kapoor.

Ahaan Panday

According to reports, Ananya Panday’s older cousin Ahaan has been signed by Yash Raj Films for his debut, which is going to be an action film. While no official announcement has been made yet, we are hoping to learn more about it in 2020. The star kid, who’s about to turn 22 in a few days, has been preparing hard for his debut. He is attending acting workshops and taking up regular dance and action classes.

Isabelle Kaif

Katrina Kaif’s baby sister, Isabelle’s pictures from the sets of Time To Dance opposite Sooraj Pancholi have been doing rounds since 2018. But the release date has still not been revealed. According to reports, it won’t be her debut film anymore. The 28-year-old will be seen with the Loveyatri debutante Aayush Sharma in her first film titled, Kwatha. The film is based on true events of the Indian Army. Sadly, its release date, too, is unknown.

Lulia Vântur

It is known that the Romanian TV host, news anchor and singer has been preparing for her Bollywood debut with the film Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala opposite Jimmy Shergill since 2018. But the movie’s release date keeps on getting delayed. Meanwhile, rumour mills are abuzz that she and Salman Khan are allegedly dating. They’re often spotted together at gatherings and outings. Let’s see if 2020 is going to be her year or not.

Nupur Sanon

Nupur Sanon recently entered the gates of B-town with a solo album opposite Akshay Kumar titled Filhall. “Couldn’t have asked for a better start than being paired opposite my favourite,” she wrote tagging the Khiladi. So, clearly, there’s more coming from the younger Sanon sister, who is said to be launched by Sajid Nadiadwala, just like Kriti Sanon, in 2020. Not just acting, the 24-year-old is passionate about singing too. Currently, she’s enrolled in various workshops to fully prepare herself.

Alizeh Agnihotri

Another new name pops up with Salman Khan’s backing in the list. Alizeh Agnihotri, Salman’s niece, is reportedly preparing hard for her debut as she is getting trained in Indian classical dance by legendary choreographer Saroj Khan. Reports also claim that Sallu mama has started scouting for a suitable script for her launch and will be introducing her in a romance drama.

Manushi Chhillar

Ever since Manushi Chillar was crowned Miss Universe in 2017, we have been waiting to read about her Bollywood debut. And it’s finally happening! The 22-year-old is ready to make her Bollywood debut opposite superstar Akshay Kumar! The film titled, Prithviraj, will see Manushi as Rajkumari Sanyogita, Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife. “YRF’s first and biggest historical film,” is how the makers are promoting the Diwali 2020 release.

Sanjana Sanghi

You may have seen this young actress in small roles in Rockstar, Fukrey Returns and Hindi Medium, but 2020 will be the first time Sanjana Sanghi will have her own screen space as the lead in a movie. In the Indian adaption of The Fault In Our Stars titled Dil Bechara (earlier ‘Kizie Aur Manny’), Sanjana will be seen opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie is set to release on May 8, 2020.

After the humongous success of the Telugu movie, Arjun Reddy (Kabir Singh is a Hindi remake of the same), its debutante Shalini Pandey is all set for her first in Bollywood. That too opposite Ranveer Singh in his next release of 2020 titled, Jayeshbhai Jordaar! Shalini has done a few Tamil and Telugu films since Arjun Reddy, but this is the first time she’s involved in a Hindi project.

By the Badhaai Ho director Amit Sharma, Maidaan is slated to hit the floors sometime in 2020.

Krystle D’Souza

Mouni Roy, Karan Singh Grover, Rajeev Khandelwal, Gurmeet Chaudhary are some of the most successful TV celebs who made a career switch to make it big in Bollywood. The latest name to join the bandwagon is Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai actress Krystle D’Souza.
