Before we talk about anything, let’s first make a confession- all of us, at some point in our lives (which could be now too) have had a crush on Hrithik Roshan. I mean, how good-looking and hot can a person be! Titled as the Greek God of Bollywood, the birthday boy has turned 46 today. Well, Hrithik can make anyone’s heart skip a beat. But, there is a side of him that none of us has seen–pictures that can give you goosebumps.
I am talking about the unseen clicks shared by his mother, Pinkie Roshan on her Instagram handle today. These pictures are from the time when the actor underwent brain surgery in July 2013. A clot had developed in his brain after he suffered head injuries while filming Bang Bang opposite Katrina Kaif. The pictures shared by his mom exude will-power and strength, showcasing how the actor is a real-life superhero too. Take a look at the images we are talking about.
Pinkie Roshan shared these pictures with an extremely emotional caption. She wrote, “I share these never before seen images with a heavy heart. However, it is not heavy with regret, sadness or concern. It is heavy from the immense love that flows through it, with each blood cell empowered by the immense gratitude I feel to be Duggu’s mother.”
She added that she was almost fainting before her son went for the surgery, but Hrithik had no fear in his eyes. “The eyes had no fear, no worry, no stress. I saw my reflection in them and found his strength empowering me and my own being changing because of his courage and determination to beat this. There has never been a challenge Duggu hasn’t faced head on and failed. His power of mind is his superpower and the beauty of it is that it inspires all around him too, giving us strength.
The emotional mom also wrote that she felt helpless seeing her child like that but Hrithik showed her unbreakable strength. We’re not crying, you are!
Hrithik’s co-star, Tiger Shroff, and others saluted his spirit on the post and dropped lovely comments.
Coming back to work front, the actor has always experimented with his roles–whether it’s in Mission Kashmir, Guzaarish or Super 30–we truly love to see him in different avatars. Personally, I still cannot get over his entry-scene in his last movie, War.

In a recent interview with an entertainment website, he said, “I am at a juncture right now where some change is about to happen. I am an adventurer, that’s what I like to say about myself, but I am now going to put that into practice. I can’t see myself repeating the same thing just because it has worked. I want to experience something new.”
