Have you ever wished to be a part of an Indian reality show? I have. From Bigg Boss to Roadies, I have given auditions every year. Of course, all of them were imaginary. You see fam, when it comes to my love for drama and cringe content, I’m more of a spectator than a contributor. And, I like to keep it that way, unless we’re talking about MTV Splitsvilla or Love Is Blind. Yeah, these shows have always made me want to quit my viewer mode and get into action mode. After all, they do find an ideal match for their contestants and at times, that’s what single ladies like us want.
Well, I may never become a part of these shows, but I surely enjoy binge-watching all of them ‘coz who doesn’t like real-life love stories? I do!

If you have enjoyed Too Hot To Handle, Love Is Blind, and Indian Matchmaking (even for the sake of dissing it later) in the past, then you are bound to find IRL: In Real Love entertaining. It’s a mix of the three. The online streaming giant announced its new show on July 1.
Tanya Bami, Director, International Originals, Netflix India, said, “We are excited to expand our offering in the reality genre with a distinctive dating format, IRL: In Real Love. The concept is a true reflection of the times we love and live in. The choices and conundrums we experience every day will be put to the test in the show’s unique social experiment. We look forward to unravelling some extraordinary love stories on Netflix.”
