Oh My Snakes: 'Naagin 5' To Go Off Air, Gets Replaced By A Vampire Show

Both in real life and on-screen, you know things are going haywire when a naagin ends up falling in love with a cheel! Guess something similar is up with Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 5, which is constantly struggling to get decent TRP for weeks now. This might explain why the makers are planning to wrap up the show in March this year, just six months after its premiere. Yes, you read that right, Naagin 5 is going off-air very soon and the last episode of the series would be shot this month itself.

According to media reports, the last episode will be shot by the end of this month. But don't take it as the end of the supernatural shiz that Colors TV has been airing since forever. In fact, if reports were to be believed the things are only going to get crazier from here. Post Naagin 5, Ekta Kapoor is all set to launch yet another supernatural series on the channel.

“The new show will also be set in the supernatural world and will be a spin-off of the Naagin franchise. The makers want it to be their biggest show in the genre and are pulling out all stops to create a great story. The casting process will begin soon, and the show will go on floors by next month,” shared a source with another leading daily.

Now, guess what the new series might be based on? Let's help you with a hint here: Pyaar ki yeh ek kahaani suno! Yup, as per the latest reports, Ekta is all set to return to the vampire theme and create a show based on it. This would be her second show on the theme after Vivian Dsena and Sukirti Kandpal's Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani.

Back in the day, this show was a superhit and still boasts of a fan base. And given that Ekta has thoroughly explored the supernatural genre in the past decade, the show is expected to be an improved, more evolved take on the vampire theme. Not gonna lie, we are low-key excited to see how this unfolds.
