Singer and actor Miley Cyrus Hemsworth who recently released her EP She Is Coming was seen headlining the Primavera Sound Barcelona 2019, over the weekend. After, the Wrecking Ball singer was harassed and groped by an unruly fan when she and her husband, Liam Hemsworth, were leaving the hotel.
In the heartbreaking video that has gone viral online, the fan can be seen grabbing Miley and pulling her by her hair, trying to kiss her. Miley struggles to try and push him aside and run towards Liam Hemsworth as her bodyguard shoves away the fan.
The couple was leaving the hotel after Miley’s performance and were making their way to their car with security surrounding them. However, this invasion of personal space has left fans shell-shocked. People are sharing the video in order to emphasise the importance of respecting celebrities. A source close to Miley Cyrus told an entertainment website that the incident left Miley “certainly unsettled” but she is “doing fine now.”
Previously, another singer, Taylor Swift went through a similar incident in 2013 when the radio DJ, David Mueller groped her during a pre-concert meet and greet session. The singer went ahead and filed a lawsuit against him, and won the case with a symbolic 1$ fine from the DJ.
