Miss World Manushi Chhillar has been doing a lot of great things since she wore her crown. She has a warm and helpful attitude and once you add that beautiful smile, it's difficult to not be charmed by her.
From her classy sense of style to her efforts towards raising awareness about women's health and hygiene, the fashionista is living up to the Miss World title ever since her victory at the pageant in 2017.
As part of the 'Beauty with a Purpose' project, Manushi has been touring the world and meeting people for a while now. Recently, she won hearts by walking the ramp along a student with Down Syndrome.
And now, Manushi tried to offer help to a boy named Mahesh. The diva posted a picture of herself with the boy on her social media accounts and captioned it, "Made a new friend today Mahesh!"
As per the post, it seems that Mahesh is quite different from the boys his age. Mahesh sells roses to pay his tuition fee and his favourite subjects are English and mathematics. Unlike other children, Manish doesn't like ice cream because "he needs a flat belly to play football."
Manushi offered to pay his tuition fee and asked him to gift the flowers he was selling to his mother. Mahesh, however, refused to accept it. Manushi wrote, "After much calculation (me testing him and he answering them with a frown) I paid the remaining balance for his fees but told him to gift the flowers to his mom. To my surprise he refused and said that his mother has taught him never to accept money for free. So much to learn from someone so young."
Manushi is doing a lot of inspirational work across the world.
Miss World 2017 also visited a health centre in Belem, Lisbon, recently. There, she spoke about the early signs of leprosy and its treatment. The Miss World team later walked on the streets to hand out information booklets on leprosy to people.
It's truly great to see Manushi using her influence and resources the right way and helping those who need it while learning new things from them as well.
