Former Miss World Manushi Chhillar didn’t just win a title in November 2017. She also won hearts with her perspective about the world, her pride for the country, her many talents and, of course, her charming smile. Today, two years after winning the life-changing crown, Manushi is all set to make it big in Bollywood. And how!
The 22-year-old is ready to make her Bollywood debut opposite superstar Akshay Kumar! The film titled Prithviraj will see Manushi as Rajkumari Sanyogita, Prithviraj Chauhan’s wife (their epic love story needs no introduction).
Earlier today, the actress-to-be shared a couple of pictures on her Instagram in which she, Akshay and the film’s director, Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, can be seen sitting for a puja officially marking the beginning of the film. “YRF’s first and biggest historical film,” is how the makers are promoting the Diwali 2020 release. Manushi captioned the pictures, “Feeling blessed 🙏🏻💫”. Doesn’t she look radiant in that baby pink suit teamed with pretty earrings? We think so!
Akshay also took to Instagram and shared a video from the puja ceremony seeking love and support from fans.
We are super excited for Manushi’s big debut on the silver screen! All we have to do is wait a year.
