How much colour is too much colour? Well if you are someone who doesn’t fall in the category of fashion’s faint-hearted, you could pull off a number of colours and still look chic. With that kind of optimism in mind, we are just going to say what everyone has been thinking: Sara Ali Khan’s supremely colourful dress could give all of us (including the rainbow) a run for our money. ICYMI, the young actress, with help from her stylist Tanya Ghavri, is slowly rising in the ranks of fashion powerhouses. Remember her last look with the utmost attention to detail?
But coming back to the current look, Sara once again slayed at the fashion game. And in case you need to see it to believe it, here’s proof.

Stepping out yesterday for a movie promotion event, Sara Ali Khan flaunted a beaded dress that had all the hues you could possibly imagine, straight out of a paintbox. The yellows and greens, pale pinks and darker versions, major shades of blue, red and many others were prominent on the black surface of the dress. Could we spot them all? Well, we sure did try! The vivid mini dress was from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s international label called Khosla Jani. Aptly named ‘Exotica’, thanks to the plethora of flora on display, this colourful outfit was certainly not for the weak-kneed.

With more colour in a single dress than we would have in our entire wardrobe, the accessories were sensibly kept to a bare minimum. A pair of perfectly round flat hoops by Misho and matching jet black heels rounded off the look on the accessories front.

With respect to hair and makeup, the actress took cues from the colour palette of her dress and sported dark blue nails, along with a fresh, dewy makeup look. Her hair was left free in tousled waves which complemented the AJSK number.
