It doesn't seem far-fetched, Katrina Kaif does remind you of a Barbie, doesn't she? After becoming the first actress to have a Barbie modelled after her, the actress is all set to pen down her autobiography reportedly called 'Barbie Dreams'. In a previous interview, Katrina Kaif mentioned "I educated myself (about the industry). I might write a book (on it)." Reports say that a publishing house approached the actress in January to discuss the prospect of her authoring a book.
"When Katrina was approached initially, she felt it was too soon to write an autobiography. After much convincing, she has agreed to come on board," a source close to Katrina Kaif revealed. The book will cover her journey in Bollywood and how she made it big though she started her career with B-grade film like Boom. "Despite starting with a controversial film like Boom (2003), she will decode how she bagged projects wisely to ensure a long inning in Bollywood."
Here's a glimpse of what Katrina looked like as an actual Barbie doll.
Since she has lived across the world with her family, Katrina will also cover her extensive cultural exposure. "The book will focus on her childhood and growing up years. Since she lived in several countries, including Japan, Belgium, and London, she will talk about the influence of myriad cultures on her personality."
However, there is a twist to the situation. In case you were looking forward to the details of her personal life, you'll be disappinted. "The story is pitched as a motivational one and anything about her personal life doesn't fit into the template," said the source.
