Parth Samthaan aka Anurag Basu of Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot had recently started shooting for the show after the three-month lockdown and left his fans shocked when he tested positive for COVID-19. The actor had now been recuperating well and he recently took to Instagram to share his health update.
Parth has now tested negative for COVID-19. He wrote in his post, “As you all know by now… My reports are negative & I feel much better. Thank you all for keeping me in your prayers… Thanks a ton, God bless you”.
Soon after his post, ‘get well soon’ messages from his fans and friends from the industry started pouring in.

The actor, who had mild symptoms, had been under home quarantine since his diagnosis on July 12. Parth had been shooting for the show when he tested positive and therefore, he had urged everyone who came in contact with him to get tested. All his co-stars including Erica Fernandes, Karan Patel, Pooja Banerjee and Aamna Sharif tested negative for the virus. All shoots at Killick Nixon Studio in Chandivali where Parth was shooting for KZK have been stalled for now.
Meanwhile, new episodes of the show began airing earlier this month. The other actors have resumed the shoot. The writers have tweaked the storyline of the show and have sent Anurag (Parth) out of the city for work.

Erica, who plays Prerna in the show, recently revealed that she and her co-star Aamna had been shooting from home as a precautionary measure. We wish Parth a speedy recovery and hope that Anurag comes back to the city soon.
