The attacks that took place in the Pulwama district in Jammu & Kashmir on 14th February shook our country. From collecting funds for the families of the martyrs to praying for the well-being of those who were injured, the nation stood together in support. Now, a production house titled Happy Productions India and the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) have decided to shoot a four-minute long music video for the 40 jawans who lost their lives.
Kartik Aaryan recently shot for the video of the song titled Tu Desh Mera which has been sung by Sonu Nigam and Sukhwinder Singh. The Luka Chuppi actor will be seen in the music video alongside other Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor. Abhishek Mishra, MD, Happy Productions India, told a leading newspaper that Kartik Aaryan's has been quite supportive of this endeavor. “We are happy to receive support from several Bollywood stars for the Pulwama martyrs and our jawans. We have worked with Kartik multiple times, and it has been a wonderful experience working with him for this video,” Abhishek said.
A few months ago, the CRPF tweeted about the contribution these actors had made to the music video, saying, "Commendable work has been done by @SrBachchan, @aamir_khan and #RanbirKapoor for the tribute song #TuDeshMera dedicated to the Martyrs of Pulwama. We would like to thank you all for showing your support towards the Martyrs."
In another tweet, they mentioned the production house who have taken up the initiative. "Flowers of freedom are nourished by the blood beneath. The song #TuDeshMera honours the noble blood, the valour and sacrifices of the men who loved the nation beyond their breaths. A tribute to the Bravehearts by @Happyprodindia," they tweeted.
Kartik Aaryan will next be seen opposite Sara Ali Khan in Love Aaj Kal 2, and the film is set to release by the end of 2019.
