Lolo Thinks THIS Dress Is Going To Be A Winter Hit... And She Might Be Right!

Amanda Priestly thought florals for spring were less than 'groundbreaking' and we're in complete agreement with the Devil Wears Prada quote... but when it comes to winter fashion, florals are somewhat of a statement.

If there is one print you should embrace this season, it is the dark floral print. Time to say goodbye to yellow and pink backgrounds, ladies. When the temperature drops, dark background florals rise to the occasion.

It's time for us to replenish our winter wardrobes with fresh floral-print dresses and Karisma Kapoor knows it. The Bollywood veteran donned a chic blue outfit yesterday and now we're crushing on it big time.

The supremely stylish Karisma Kapoor chose a dark teal and navy blue dress with pale pink floral print for her day in the city. The intricate, dark floral print is a more sophisticated take on the bright and chirpy kind we saw in the summer, isn't it?

What took her Prabal Gurung dress to another level was the flirty ruffle detail down the front - and also the fact that one side was sleeveless (with thin straps) and the other, half-sleeved with a bohemian flare. L-O-V-E.

Also, take notes on how to accessorize with your long winter dresses, ladies. Karisma carried a compact top-handle bag and wore high-heeled ankle booties, both in black. The trick to success with respect to your accessories - pick a colour from dress that isn't in your face; wear shoes that end at the ankle so they don't disappear under the hem of your dress.

Isn't Karisma a darling for giving us dark-floral inspo? Not just her, some of our other B-town beauties also endorse the dark floral dress for the chilly season.

This includes Sonakshi Sinha. Her black and pink dark floral Massimo Dutti shirt-dress is giving us life!

Rhea Chakraborty goes for a larger print alternative with baby pink, lavender and ivory lilies on a matte black background.
