Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan with their two-year-old son, Taimur have the perfect nawabi family. Their Bollywood commitments may keep them busy all through the year, but they still manage to escape the limelight every once in a while and head to their ancestral home for some quality time.
Recently, the family spent a beautiful day at Pataudi Palace in the Gurgaon district and their pictures have now gone viral on social media. In one, we can see the little nawab playing with mommy and daddy in the lap of nature. In others, Saif is seen posing in his luxurious palace. The palace's gorgeous halls and lush gardens are fit for a king, and if you want a sneak peek into the royal residence, check these out.
According to a report, the Pataudi palace has 150 rooms including seven dressing rooms, seven bedrooms, seven billiard rooms with large drawing rooms as well as dining rooms. The construction of the palace was ordered by Saif's grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan and designed by Robert Tor Russell.
Built in the early 1990s, this grand palace is situated in the Gurgaon district of Haryana and is also called the Ibrahim Kothi. It was a Neemrana hotel from 2005 to 2014, before it was repossessed and renovated by Saif in 2014. Since then, the actor and his family have spent several winters in the palace, visiting their mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and sister Saba Ali Khan.
On the work-front, Saif is currently shooting for the second season of the hit Netflix series Sacred Games while Kareena is prepping up for her upcoming movie, GoodNews opposite Akshay Kumar that is expected to release on 6th September 2019. She would also be seen in Karan Johar's Takht co-starring Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar
