Karan Johar is known to be friends with everyone in the industry. From throwing birthday bashes to being the life of every party himself, Bollywood's flamboyant director believes in celebrating every occasion to the hilt. On Saturday night, while I was tucked in bed scrolling through my Instagram feed, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director threw the coolest house party of the year. The party saw celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukherji, Zoya Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, Vicky Kaushal and many more.
Karan took to his Instagram to share a video and it sure gave us some major "Saturday night vibes".
The video begins with Deepika posing in her little black dress with her friend and is followed by Malaika, who winks to the camera before it moves towards her boyfriend Arjun Kapoor, who is caught by surprise. Arjun can be seen having a chit-chat with Shahid Kapoor. Then the camera focuses on Varun Dhawan, his brother Rohit Dhawan and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, and Varun is seen trying to hide his face from the camera. From there, the camera moves towards Vicky Kaushal, Ayan Mukerji and Natasha Dalal. The final part of the footage shows Ranbir Kapoor, dressed in a black T-shirt, sitting next to Mira Rajput on another couch.
The stars seem to be enjoying, chatting and having a swell time.
While Ranbir and Deepika made it to the party, we're wondering where Alia and Ranveer were. Ranveer is shooting for '83 in the UK while Alia is currently vacationing with her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt in Ooty.
The celebs were seen leaving the party at wee hours. Clearly, they had a long night. Check out the pictures!
Only if we could have this fancy a guest list, our Saturday nights would be as lit too!
On the work front, Karan Johar recently announced that he will make Hindi remake of Telugu film Dear Comrade. He is also directing Takht, which features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
