Kangana Ranaut Channels Desi Frida Kahlo & We’re As Confused As You Are!

Kangana Ranaut and her team starring in Panga including Neena Gupta, Richa Chadha, and Jassie Gill got together for a special premiere of the film in Mumbai on Wednesday. While all the actors brought their own personal style in front of the paparazzi, Kangana decided to channel her inner Frida Kahlo for the big day.

And it wasn’t any regular Frida Kahlo-inspired look. A massive, floral head crown paired with a salwar kameez, we’re confused about what to feel when we see this look. As if the outfit wasn’t enough, to hit a direct punch, the Queen star even posed in front of a wall covered with Kahlo’s portraits. Subtlety is not your strong suit right, Kangana?

For makeup, Kangana decided to keep it neutral and natural, focussing on adding some bronzer to her face. She went for a flawless base, brown eyeshadow to define her crease a bit and fluttery lashes. She highlighted the top of her cheeks and cupids brown and again took inspiration from Frida Kahlo for her feathered brows. She completed her look with brownish nude lipstick.

For hair, she kept it straight and open, parting it down the front. Of course, the main thing was the headband with flowers, leaves, buds, and fruits. Is it just me or is it also reminding you all of the wreath you hang on your door for Christmas?

Recently, while talking about her upcoming film, Kangana said, “I am the Panga queen, and the panga king of Team India is definitely Virat Kohli. He is fearless and is up for any challenges that come his way. This time we both will take a Panga on the same day – mine will be at the theatres, and he will battle it out against team New Zealand on their home ground. This will be fun.”

Well, Virat, you’ve got someone rooting for you back here, hope you make this one count for Kangana’s sake.

The film will hit the theatres on January 24. It revolves around a kabaddi player, played by Kangana, who wants to make a comeback in the game after marriage and motherhood. Richa Chadha plays her mentor, Jassie her husband and Neena plays Kangana’s mother in the film.

All the best to the team. And what do you think about our desi Frida Kahlo guys, yay or nay?
