It was just last week when cricketer Jasprit Bumrah sent the rumour mills abuzz. Bumrah requested BCCI to release him from the final match of the ongoing test series against England. Almost immediately, speculations about an impending wedding started doing rounds. Well earlier today, Bumrah took to Instagram to put an end to all of it while making a huge announcement.
As it turns out, the rumours were, in fact, true and the Indian pacer has actually tied the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in a hush Goa ceremony. Bumrah shared pictures from their along with a beautiful caption, “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you.”

Floral Backdrops & All That Love
Sitting against a lavish floral backdrop and dressed to the nines in their pastel pink outfits, Bumrah and Sanjana are reminding us of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma from their Tuscany wedding. In the pictures, Sanjana can be seen dressed in a baby pink lehenga featuring vivid magenta and green floral motifs. She is carrying two dupattas and we love how both of them have been kept extremely light and breezy.
Sanjana finished her look with a heavy choker, a classic mathapatti, and a minimal nath that totally has our heart. Keeping up with the entire 2021 bridal vibe, she opted for subtle makeup and strong, kohl-lined eyes. This is a look that never fails to deliver and stands true in Sanjana’s case as well.
Bumrah colour co-ordinated with Sanjana in a baby pink sherwani and looked every bit dapper. He finished the look with an embellished stole and ruby beads. Safe to say that the couple is totally killing it in the style department!
