Last month on May 19, Janhvi Kapoor had confirmed that their 23-year-old house help had tested positive for COVID-19. The news was shared by the Dhadak actress on Instagram as a message from her father and film producer Boney Kapoor putting all speculations to rest. Sadly, a few days later, two more of their house helps contracted the virus too. This was rather distressing given that Boney and his daughters Janhvi and Khushi were all under quarantine with most of their staff at their home. Fortunately, the Kapoors were tested negative. They had all been in self-quarantine as per the BMC guidelines.
A few hours ago, Boney took to Twitter to share the good news of their house helps' recovery from COVID-19. He wrote:
Happy to share that while my daughters & I had always been tested negative, our 3 staff members who had tested positive for Covid19, have fully recovered & tested negative. Our 14 day home quarantine period has also ended & we look forward to starting afresh @mybmc@MumbaiPolice
Furthermore, he extended a heartfelt thanks on behalf of his family to the doctors, healthcare workers, and various Mumbai authorities and departments for their help and support to everyone in Maharashtra. The state has the maximum number of cases in India with over 77,000 confirmed.
My family and I would like to thank the Doctors, healthcare workers, BMC, Mumbai Police, State and Central Government for their help and support not just to us but to all across Maharashtra and India. Together we shall overpower Covid19 virus. @mybmc@MumbaiPolice
The Kapoor sisters have been having the best time quarantining together. Last month, Janhvi had shared an album sharing "How to annoy your sister 101 #quarantineedition 👯♀️." Needless to say, the pictures and videos were hilarious! Check them out below:
