One thing about summer dressing that we miss is miniskirts. Don’t get us wrong, we love everything about winter styling – the layering, the tights, the faux fur. But every now and then, we experience a sudden craving for micro minis and legs for days.
Yesterday was one of those days. Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor gave us hot flashes in the middle of winter and it’s thanks to their smokin’ mini skirts.

The sisters dressed up for a show and their outfits deserve your attention.
The younger of the two, Khushi, chose a textured suede, animal print Madison on Peddar mini skirt with one of our favourite wardrobe basics a crisp white button down to wear to the shoot. Khushi cuffed up her sleeves to add a casual vibe to her chic look.

The 18-year-old celeb kid accessorised her look with layered gold-toned necklaces, classic hoops, and a pair of black leather, rivet detailed pumps.
While Khushi went for a more sophisticated look, her elder sister and Bollywood starlet Janhvi Kapoor went with a fun retro, disco look.

Wearing a white Versace T-shirt tucked into an electric blue vinyl skirt, also by Madison on Peddar, Janhvi looked like a ’90s dream.
The Dhadak actress wore a pair of multicoloured strappy sandals with her outfit and edgy, drop earrings.

Both the girls wore soft, dewy makeup with rouge lips and wavy hair – Khushi’s was up in a ponytail while Janhvi wore it down.
We can’t get those mini skirts out of our heads and we’re going to let you in on a few styling tips to pull them off in the winter – without losing the vibe.
1. Wear miniskirts with sheer, patterned tights and strappy heels like Janhvi’s when going out.
2. For a day look wear ankle-length booties to show them legs off.
3. Tuck in a shirt and add a blazer to a high-waisted mini skirt to work one at work or for a meeting.
4. Knot a tee into a cropped style and add a bomber jacket for a fun ’90s vibe.
