Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor quite often share pictures of their lovely daughter Shanaya on social media. She is undoubtedly one of the most loved star kids already! A few days ago, her parents announced that she will be making her grand debut at Le Bal Paris, the most glamorous debutante ball in the world, and none of us could hold our excitement. Finally, we now have all the pictures from the event that took place at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris and we must say, Shanaya looks like a vision in red.
Sanjay took to Instagram to share a video of his daughter making an entry at the prestigious event with her escort Maximilian Hindmarch. He wrote, “So proud of you. #lebal #paris.” One can also hear him cheering from the background.

Vision In A Red
For the evening, Shanaya chose a ruffled red Lecoanet Hemant gown with a plunging neckline. She opted for a nude lip colour with warm undertones and kept her overall look fresh and glowy. There was subtle highlighter helping the 20-year-old look like a princess. She kept her accessories limited to a pair of earrings, letting the gown do all the talking, and kept her hair open with loose curls for the evening. How pretty!
The Belle of the Ball: Making Of Shanaya’s Gown
Lecoanet Hemant, the designer who made Shanaya’s beautiful red gown shared posts showing all the effort that went into making the gown giving us the details “Of silken threads and scarlet dreams.” The silk-satin ruffled gown was made by a dressmaker in their Gurgaon atelier, as revealed by the designer in one of his posts.
The designer also revealed that Shanaya envisioned herself in scarlet red. “What followed next was a pure celebration of the codes of couture – a sculptural play of twisted silk yarns and artisanal embroidery techniques evoking the youthful joy of a grand debut,” said another caption. He referred to Shanaya as “An aesthete with a refined taste well beyond her years,” and we totally agree with him! Her outfit is proof of it, isn’t it?

The making of the gown reveals how every thread was meticulously drawn out of a yard of crepe and given a twist in the form of ruffles. The threads were then layered and hand embroidered on tulle to give the gown the perfect texture. Have a closer look at it below:
