The Kasautii Zindagii Kay actress Hina Khan recently made headlines because of her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. Hina floored celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas and Huma Qureshi with her dedication and ambition to move forward in the industry. She also became the first television actress to attend the prestigious film festival for the launch of her Hindi film, Lines. She really is on a roll!
During the promotions of her film, Hina Khan had the opportunity to meet Marc Baschet, the director of the Oscar Winning foreign (Bosnian) film, No Man's Land. In a post on Instagram, the actress shared a picture with the director, who she met through the co-writer and co-producer of Lines, Rahat Kazmi. The actress thanked Kazmi for the opportunity and Marc for the privilege of getting to hold his Oscar (Academy Award), promising that one day, she'll be holding her own.

Hina Khan's Bollywood film Lines will mark her debut in the industry. It is directed by Hussain Khan, written by Kunwar Shakti Singh and Rahat Kazmi, who has co-produced the film alongside Tariq Khan and Zeba Sajid.
The actress was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's hit TV show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Komolika, the show's negative character. In order to pursue a career in films, the actress had an untimely exit from the show and promised that she would continue the character once she is done shooting and promoting the film.
