We’re halfway through Cannes Film Festival 2019, and some of these outfits are still leaving us shell-shocked. Hina Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone chose ruffles this season to make a statement on the red carpet. From Hina Khan’s silver to Priyanka Chopra’s white and Deepika Padukone’s lime green gown, exaggerated ruffles have truly taken over.

Television actress Hina Khan made heads turn this year at her first-ever Cannes appearance with her extravagant silver gowns. The actress’ first film, Lines, will debut at the festival. On the red carpet, she paired a sheer silver tulle gown with silver chrome pumps and a bold lip, keeping the jewellery minimum. The simplicity of her outfit is what made it a crowd favourite.

2. Priyanka Chopra

A vision in white, actress Priyanka Chopra was accompanied on the red carpet by her singer and actor husband, Nick Jonas. Priyanka chose to wear a white strapless tulle gown paired with a gorgeous neckpiece by Chopard, the brand she is representing at Cannes 2019.

3. Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone’s lime green tulle couture gown by designer Giambattista Valli truly gave us life! Especially the tiny pink bow on her neck paired with that gorgeous pastel headpiece by Emily Baxendale. Keeping the makeup nude and brows sharp, Deepika’s makeup artist, Sandhya Sekar, won our hearts with that pink lip.

4. Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut was seen sporting a strapless pastel pink Michale Cinco gown at the red carpet, with lilac studs and a princess crown braid. The delicate embroidered gown with its sharp train made this queen stand out at the film festival.
5. Diana Penty

Post the Chopard event, Diana Penty was seen at the red carpet in an elegant Amit Aggarwal saree paired with a neckpiece by Aquamarine Jewellery and a simple braid. The Cocktail actress and model is known for her impeccable sense of style, so we’re looking forward to her red carpet appearances.
6. Huma Quereshi

The actress is all set to make a comeback, both on the red carpet and on our screens. On one hand, she wore a over-the-top black gown by Mae Paris at the red carpet, with exaggerated sleeves that have us crushing on her and on the other, the trailer of her new web series on Netflix called Leila was launched! Looks like things are falling into place for Huma.
