Okay, ladies, this might hit you as a shocker but Rana Daggubati is not single anymore! The Baahubali actor took to Instagram yesterday to hit us out of the blue and announce his engagement with designer Miheeka Bajaj. “And she said Yes 🙂 ❤️#MiheekaBajaj,” Rana captioned the post as he uploaded an adorable picture with his lady love.

Quite naturally, we all wanted to know all about this special lady who won over the Tollywood heartthrob. So we did a little digging. Turns out Miheeka is an interior designer and runs a decor and event planning firm called Dew Drop Design Studio. She holds a Masters’s degree in Interior Design from Chelsea University and has been putting her learning to good use with state of the art designing concepts since 2017 with her own firm.
And while Miheeka might strike as a new name to some, she actually hails from a prominent Hyderabad family that has always had its ties with the entertainment industry. Her mother Bunty Bajaj is a big name in the designing industry as well and her store, Krsala, happens to be a favourite haunt for jewellery connoisseurs. Here’s a picture of Miheeka with mom Bunty:
Miheeka & Sonam Are Buddies
Besides designing, Miheeka is also an accomplished horse rider and is really fond of cooking and loves to do that in her free time. She keeps shuttling between Hyderabad and Mumbai due to her business and has a lot of B-Town friends as well. In fact, Miheeka is a close friend of Sonam Kapoor who also congratulated the newly engaged couple on Instagram. Here’s her post:
Rana and Miheeka are yet to come up with a wedding date. However, Suresh Babu’s statement to a news daily might help us with a better idea. “The wedding will happen this year. We were thinking of having it around December, but it could happen even sooner than that too. We will reveal the details once things are finalised. One thing’s for sure, the kids have given us a nice way to enhance our lockdown productivity. We’ll now be busy planning a wedding,” he shares.
Well, rest assured Rana and Miheeka have sure added some much-needed excitement to our lockdown days and we cannot wait for them to smitten us with a beautiful wedding ceremony. Many congratulations to the newly engaged couple!
